About John

My name is John Paden and helping people, and the joy I get from helping people, is my life goal. I love lifting those around me with my skills, knowledge and know-how so we may all live a better life.

I’m originally from Happy Valley, Oregon. Happy Valley is about 30 minutes southwest of downtown Portland. I grew up in a place with many types of people and personalities which gave me the skills and mindset to understand different types of people and how to communicate with them. This has allowed me to grow in a way I can work with a wide variety of individuals and understand what their goals are to seek a mortgage.

Discipline and dedication are what makes me tick. When I was growing up, I completed in 2 National Championships for Tae Kwon Do and placed 1st in 1st Degree Black Belt, ages 11-12, sparring class. I also went to multiple National Championships in both Cross Country and Track. I spent countless hours keeping my body in peek performance to maximize my output.

I graduated from Lake Oswego High School in 2010 in Lake Oswego, Oregon. In 2012, I started to attend the Clackamas Community College. Shortly thereafter, transferred to University of Oregon and studied Economics.

Being an Oregonian, I love being in the outdoors! Some of these outdoor hobbies include: Running, biking, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, riding horses, etc. I’m also a mountain man. I love being up on the mountains and enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful views. Since moving to Virginia, I continue these outdoor hobbies with my beautiful wife, Skylar.
